The Tennessee Titans face off with the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC Wild Card round matchup in NFL action from Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Sunday afternoon.

The Baltimore Ravens come into this one as the #5 seed, finishing with an 11-5 record, including 5 straight wins to finish the season and punch their ticket to the postseason. Lamar Jackson threw for 2,767 yards, 26 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on 64.4% passing while also leading the Ravens in rushing with 1,005 yards and 7 TDs. J.K. Dobbins has 805 rushing yards with 9 TDs and Gus Edwards has 723 rushing yards with 6 scores while Marquise Brown leads Baltimore’s receiving group with 58 grabs for 769 yards and 8 touchdowns. Mark Andrews isn’t far behind with 701 receiving yards on 58 catches with 7 TDs and Willie Snead IV has 432 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. Miles Boykin and Devin Duvernay each have 200+ receiving yards and Edwards, Dobbins and Nick Boyle each have 100+ receiving yards this season. On defense, Patrick Queen leads Baltimore with 106 total tackles, including 66 solo tackles while Marlon Humphrey has a team-leading 70 solo tackles. Marcus Peters leads Baltimore with 4 interceptions and Tyus Bowser has 3 picks for the Ravens while Matthew Judon leads Baltimore with 6 sacks.

The Tennessee Titans come into this one as the #4 seed and AFC South division champion following an 11-5 record as well this season. Ryan Tannehill threw for 3,819 yards, 33 TDs and 7 INTs while Derrick Henry led the league with 2,027 rushing yards and 17 TDs while Tannehill rushed for 7 scores as well. A.J. Brown leads Tennessee with 70 catches for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns while Corey Davis is 2nd in the Titans’ receiving group with 65 grabs for 984 yards and 5 TDs. Baltimore is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 playoff games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 road games. Tennessee is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 wild card round games and 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 playoff home games while the over is 5-0 in their last 5 games as a home underdog. The under is 9-4-1 in the last 14 meetings between these two teams.

I get the revenge angle and that the Ravens come in winning five straight games. However, I can’t just ignore that the Titans are getting points at home and that the whole league knows how to beat the Ravens, you stop Lamar Jackson and render him ineffective. On the other hand, as good as Derrick Henry is, the Ravens have the defense to stop him if need be. I expect there to be a ton of running of the football and for a lot of clock to be chewed up here, leaving us with a game coming in under the number.
