The New Orleans Saints face off with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday in the NFL NFC Divisional Playoffs at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, LA.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off a win over the Washington Football Team and look to make the NFC Championship for the first time since 2002. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won six straight road games. Tom Brady is completing 65.7 percent of his passes for 4,633 yards, 40 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Brady has two or more touchdown passes in eight straight games. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have combined for 1,846 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns while Rob Gronkowski has 45 receptions. Defensively, Tampa Bay is allowing 22.2 points and 327.1 yards per game. Devin White leads the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 140 tackles, Jason Pierre-Paul has 9.5 sacks and Carlton Davis has four interceptions.
The New Orleans Saints are coming off a win over the Bears and look to make the NFC Championship for the second time in the last three years. The New Orleans Saints have won six of their last seven home games. Drew Brees is completing 70.5 percent of his passes for 2,942 yards, 24 touchdowns and four interceptions. Brees and Taysom Hill have combined for 28 touchdowns and eight interceptions. The Buccaneers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in January and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog. The Saints are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The over is 25-9 in Buccaneers last 34 road games. The under is 7-3 in Saints last 10 games overall. The Buccaneers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings in New Orleans and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are averaging 35.8 points per game during their five-game winning streak and have topped 30 points in seven of their last 12 games overall. Brady has possibly his best weapons of his career and this Bucs offense is downright scary right now. The New Orleans Saints pretty much had a bye week last week, and they've won nine of the last 10 games Brees has played. At home, the Saints should be favored and you know Brees and company are highly motivated with the way their last few playoff trips ended. The Saints won both meetings against the Bucs this year, including a 38-3 beatdown back in November, and they actually haven't lost to Tampa Bay since September of 2018. However, we're getting Brady and this Bucs offense with a free field goal. I also trust Brady more than Brees in big games for obvious reasons.
Give me Tampa Bay and the points, but I'll be on the ML as well.
