NFL Week 6 Prop Bets: Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has a passing yard over-under line of 305.5. This line is slightly below his season average of 317.4.

Through five weeks, the Rams quarterback is averaging 70 yards per game above expectation (opponent-adjusted). In his last game, Stafford threw for a season nigh 365 yards on 25 completions. In this game, he connected on seven passes over 20 yards.

The New York Giants defense is ranked 13th in the NFL in yards allowed to number one wide receivers. Cornerbacks James Bradberry and Adoree’ Jackson will have their hands full against a stacked Rams receiving group.

In this matchup, I am avoiding any props on Rams wide receivers as on any given week, it could be Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, or Van Jefferson coming up with the big game. However, I will be taking Stafford to go over his total.

NFL Week 6 Prop Bets: New York Giants

In their matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, the Giants are hopeful they will be lining up with Daniel Jones as the starter. After last week’s game, Jones entered the NFL’s concussion protocol.

On the season, Jones is averaging 256.4 passing yards per game. In these games, he is averaging 2 yards above expectation (opponent-adjusted).

In his last full game, Daniel Jones threw for a season-high 402 yards. However, this will be tough to replicate as he is expected to be without wide receiver Kenny Golladay.

Without Golladay, the Giants quarterback will look to rely on Sterling Shephard. Unfortunately, he will spend the majority of his time against cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Last week Ramsey held D.K. Metcalf to just 3 catches for 57 yards.

This week I will be fading both Daniel Jones and Sterling Shephard, locking in the under’s on their totals.
