The Minnesota Vikings face off against the Dallas Cowboys in week 8 NFL action in this week’s edition of Sunday night football from US Bank Stadium.

The Dallas Cowboys will look to add to their 5-1 record after picking up a 35-29 win over New England prior to their bye week. Dak Prescott has thrown for 1,813 yards, 16 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 73.1% passing while Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard have combined for 887 rushing yards and 6 TDs this season. CeeDee Lamb leads Dallas’ receiving corps with 33 grabs for 497 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns while Amari Cooper and Dalton Schultz each have 30+ catches and 350+ receiving yards with a combined 7 touchdowns this season. Another three Cowboys have at least 100 receiving yards as well this season. On defense, Jayron Kearse leads the Cowboys with 39 total tackles while Trevon Diggs has an astounding 7 interceptions and Randy Gregory has 4 sacks.

The Minnesota Vikings come into this game off of their bye as well, looking to build on a win over Carolina by a final score of 34-28 last time out. Kirk Cousins has thrown for 1,769 yards, 13 touchdowns and two interceptions on 69.5% passing while Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison have combined to rush for 634 yards this season. Justin Jefferson leads Minnesota with 41 grabs for 542 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns while Adam Thielen has 393 receiving yards with a team-high 5 touchdowns and K.J. Osborn also has 311 receiving yards as well on the year. On defense, Eric Kendricks has a team-high 60 total tackles while Danielle Hunter has 6 sacks and Everson Griffen has 4 sacks on the year.

Dallas is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games following a win. Minnesota is 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 games as a home underdog and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games overall while the under is 7-3 in their last 10 games following a win.

Well it’s now the streak that’s the talk of the NFL betting world, how long can Dallas go unbeaten against the spread. I’m not sure at first glance, but what I do know is that this should be a great game and with that said, I’m siding with the under. I do think there will be back and forth action, but this total just feels a bit too high. Both teams have some solid defense and as good as the offenses are, I think the two sides will both be up to the task in this one.
