The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles clash Sunday in the NFL NFC Wild card matchup at Raymond James Stadium.

The Philadelphia Eagles come into the postseason with a 9-8 record on the year. Jalen Hurts has thrown for 3,144 yards, 16 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on 61.3% passing while also leading the Eagles in rushing with 784 rushing yards and 10 scores. Miles Sanders has 754 rushing yards while three other Eagles have at least 250 rushing yards as well on the year. DeVonta Smith leads Philadelphia in receiving with 64 grabs for 916 yards and 5 TDs while Dallas Goedert has 830 receiving yards with 4 TD grabs and Quez Watkins has 647 receiving yards as well this season. On defense, Alex Singleton leads the Eagles with 137 total tackles while Javon Hargrave has a team-high 7.5 sacks and Josh Sweat also has 7.5 sacks for the Eagles this season. Darius Slay also has 3 interceptions for the Eagles this season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers come into this one as the defending champions with a record of 13-4 this season. Tom Brady’s thrown for 5,316 yards, 43 touchdowns and 12 INTs on 67.5% passing, while Leonard Fournette has a team-high 812 rushing yards with 8 scores. Chris Godwin has 1,103 receiving yards with 5 TDs to lead the Bucs’ in receiving yardage, while Mike Evans has 1,035 receiving yards and 14 scores. Rob Gronkowski has 6 touchdowns and 802 receiving yards as well this season. On defense, Devin White has a team-high 128 total tackles, while Shaq Barrett has 10 sacks and Ndamukong Suh has 6 sacks. Mike Edwards also has 3 interceptions for Tampa Bay’s D this season.

Philadelphia is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 playoff games as an underdog and 2-11 ATS in their last 13 games following a double-digit loss at home while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 January games. Tampa Bay is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 Wild Card games and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record.

Maybe it’s the obvious play here, but I love the over in this spot. Tampa Bay was electric offensively over the last two months of the season for the most part, and Philadelphia was more than capable of putting points up themselves and a dual-threat like Jane Hurts that sees the field as well as he does is always an offensive danger. I know the Bucs’ front seven is ferocious, but I can’t help but think this is a game that ends up in the 50s. Give me the over here.
