The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers square off Sunday night in the NFC Championship game in NFL playoff action from SoFi Stadium in California.

The San Francisco 49ers punches their ticket to the NFC title game with a 13-10 win over the Green Bay Packers last time out. Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 131 yards and an interception on 11 of 19 passing while Elijah Mitchell led San Fran with 53 rushing yards and Deebo Samuel had 39 rushing yards on 10 carries. George Kittle led the 49ers in receiving with 4 grabs for 63 yards while Samuel had 3 catches for 44 yards as well in the win. Dontae Johnson, Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw each had a team-high 6 total tackles while Arik Armstead and Nick Bosa each had a pair of sacks and Samson Ebukam chipped in a sack as well for the San Fran defense.

The Los Angeles Rams will look to reach the Super Bowl after picking up a narrow 30-27 win over Tampa Bay last time out. Matthew Stafford threw for 366 yards and 2 touchdowns on 28 of 38 passing while also rushing for a touchdown as well. Cam Akers led the Rams with 48 rushing yards on 24 carries while Cooper Kupp led the Rams with 9 grabs for 183 yards and a score. Odell Beckham Jr. had 6 catches for 69 yards while Tyler Higbee had 4 grabs for 51 yards and Kendall Blanton had a touchdown catch as well in the win. Defensively, Nick Scott had an interception and David Long Jr. and Darious Williams each had a team-high 7 tackles while Aaron Donald, Von Miller and Leonard Floyd each had a sack as well for L.A. in the victory.

San Francisco is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 playoff games as an underdog. Los Angeles is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 playoff games while the under is 17-4 in their last 21 games as a home favorite.

I get the case to be made either way here, but you have two teams that have two different waves of momentum here. The Niners rallied to get past Green Bay and Los Angeles almost let it slip away against Tampa Bay and I doubt this is the matchup that the Rams wanted considering San Fran’s won six straight against L.A. I’m leaning towards the Niners and the points here as I think we have a battle on our hands and this is definitely going to be a game you’re going to want to tune in to check out.
