The Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears square off Thursday night in week 2 of NFL preseason action at Lumen Field in Seattle. The Chicago Bears are coming off a preseason win over the Chiefs. The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a preseason loss to the Steelers.

The Chicago Bears have won 3 of their last 4 preseason games. The Bears racked up 19 points and 285 yards while allowing 14 points and 205 yards. In the winning effort, Trevor Siemian threw for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Justin Fields completed 4 of 7 passes. Tristan Ebner led the Bears with 31 rushing yards on 6 carries, while Tajae Sharpe and Darnell Mooney combined for 70 receiving yards on 3 receptions. Jack Sanborn led the Bears with 7 tackles, Trevon Coley had 2 sacks and Jack Sanborn had 1 interception.

The Seattle Seahawks have split their last 8 preseason games. The Seahawks racked up 25 points and 339 yards while allowing 32 points and 409 yards. In the losing effort, Drew Lock threw for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Geno Smith completed 10 of 15 passes. DeeJay Dallas led the Seahawks with 73 rushing yards on 10 carries, while Bo Melton and Travis Homer combined for 80 receiving yards on 4 receptions. Joel Dublanko led the Bears with 8 tackles, Boye Mafe had 2 sacks and Mike Jackson had 1 pass deflection.

The Bears are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The Seahawks are 8-2-2 ATS in their last 12 Thursday games. The over is 4-1 in Bears last 5 road games. The over is 5-1 in Seahawks last 6 games overall. The over is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings.

The Bears didn’t do anything special in their preseason opener against the Chiefs, and they didn’t play most of their opponents best players. The Bears offensive line is still a major concern across the board, and it makes them tough to back. The Seattle Seahawks got respectable play from their quarterbacks, and you’d think they’d be even more comfortable at home. I have a hard time getting behind the Bears with their inability to block on the offensive side. I’ll lay the field goal with the Seahawks at home.
