The New Orleans Saints and the San Francisco 49ers meet Sunday in NFL action from Levi’s Stadium. New Orleans is 4-7 this year and coming off a win over the Rams. As for San Francisco, they played Arizona on Monday. In that game the 49ers posted a blowout win. Check back all season long for free NFL picks at Sports Chat Place.

New Orleans went 2-3 over their first five games, taking losses to the Buccaneers, Panthers and Vikings. A 1-4 run followed for the Saints, with a win over the Raiders among losses to the Bengals, Cardinals, Ravens and Steelers.

In last weekend’s matchup versus the Rams, the Saints were down 14-10 going into the third quarter. New Orleans rallied on a 17-6 run and took a 27-20 win. QB Andy Dalton put up 260 yards with three scores, while Chris Olave led the receivers on 102 yards and a TD.

Over on the San Francisco side, they went 3-2 over their first five games with wins over the Seahawks, Rams and Panthers. The 49ers posted a 2-2 record over the next four, losing to the Falcons and Chiefs before wins versus the Rams and Chargers.

On Monday versus Arizona, the 49ers were up 17-10 at halftime. San Francisco put up 14 points the third quarter on the way to a dominant 38-10 win. QB Jimmy Garoppolo put up 228 yards, four touchdowns and 20-of-29 passing. Elijah Mitchell led the rush with 59 yards.

The Saints are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 in Week 12 and 1-4 ATS in their last five in November. New Orleans is 0-4 ATS in the last four on grass.

Meanwhile, the 49ers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight at home and 5-2 ATS in their last seven in Week 12. San Francisco is 5-2 ATS versus a team with a losing record.

PICK: I’m going to take a stab on the Saints. Probably not going near this one, though. New Orleans had a pretty tepid day on offense in their win over the Rams, posting 323 total yards (88 rushing), 19 first downs and 4-of-11 on third-down tries. The Saints had just two penalties and zero turnovers however, which did help.

As for San Francisco, they had a great outing in the Monday game versus Arizona. The 49ers posted 387 total yards and 6.7 yards per play in a solid offensive effort. If the offense gets going in this one, San Francisco will be strong early on but I think the Saints will cover in the end.
