The Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons clash Sunday in a week 2 NFL contest from SoFi Stadium.

The Atlanta Falcons will look to rebound from a heartbreaking 27-26 loss to New Orleans in their season opener last time out. Marcus Mariota has thrown for 215 yards and also rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown while Cordarrelle Patterson leads the Falcons in rushing with 120 rushing yards and a score. Drake London leads the Falcons’ receiving group with 5 grabs for 74 yards while Olamide Zaccheaus has 4 catches for 49 yards. On defense, Richie Grant leads the Falcons with 10 total tackles including 5 solo tackles while Grady Jarrett has 1.5 sacks as well this season.

The Los Angeles Rams will try to bounce back after starting the season with a disappointing 31-10 loss to Buffalo last time out. Matthew Stafford has thrown for 240 yards, a touchdown and 3 interceptions on 70.7% passing while Darrell Henderson Jr. leads the Rams in rushing with 47 rushing yards as well. Cooper Kupp has a team-high 13 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown this season. On defense, Troy Hill has a team-high 8 total tackles while Bobby Wagner and Aaron Donald each have a sack. Hill and Terrell lewis also have an interception each as well so far this season.

Atlanta is 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games as an underdog and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall while the under is 5-2 in their last 7 road games against a team with a losing home record. Los Angeles is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall.

I get that this is a massive number to be laying in an NFL game, but the Rams are rested, ticked off and are simply the better team compared to an Atlanta team that’s likely going to be the worst in the NFC this season and didn’t do much to convince otherwise after a dejecting loss in week one. I think the Rams come out gangbusters here and this one gets ugly in a hurry. Give me the Rams laying the points.
