The Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Commanders meet Sunday in NFL action from FedExField. Dallas is currently 12-4 overall. The Cowboys beat the Titans in their last game. As for Washington, they’re 7-8-1 on the year and coming off a loss to the Browns. Check back all season long for free NFL picks at Sports Chat Place.

Dallas was 6-3 through their first nine games this year, losing to the Buccaneers, Eagles and Packers. The Cowboys are 6-1 since then with wins over the Vikings, Giants, Colts, Texans, Eagles and Titans in that stretch.

In the Titans game last Thursday, the Cowboys were up 10-6 at the break. Dallas scored another 17 points in the second half and won it 27-13. QB Dak Prescott put up 282 yards with two scores and two picks. CeeDee Lamb caught 11 balls for 100 yards as well.

Over on the Washington side, they were 4-5 though nine games this year, beating the Jaguars, Bears, Packers and Colts along the way. The Commanders would then win three straight games, tie the Giants and lose three versus the Giants, 49ers and Browns.

On Sunday versus the Browns, Washington was down 17-7 going into the final quarter. The Commanders didn’t get any closer in a 24-10 loss. Carson Wentz threw for 143 yards with three picks, and Brian Robinson had 24 carries for 87 yards.

The Cowboys are 7-1 ATS in their last eight after an ATS loss and 10-3-1 ATS versus a team with a losing record. Dallas is 20-7 ATS in their last 27 versus the NFC.

Meanwhile, the Commanders are 1-4 ATS in their last five versus the NFC East and 1-5-1 ATS versus a team with a winning record. Washington is 0-4 ATS in their last four overall.

PICK: I’ll probably stick with Dallas. The Cowboys have clinched the playoffs and have a chance at moving up in the seeding with a little help from the Eagles. Regardless of what Philadelphia does however, this would be a good momentum game heading into the postseason for Dallas. The Cowboys have scored well lately with 27 or more points in nine straight outings and should post a decent number here as well.

As for the Commanders, they haven’t cracked 20 points in five straight games and they’re looking pretty sketchy though this three-game losing streak. I don’t thin Washington will keep up here if the Cowboys are playing well.
