The Los Angeles Chargers are 11-5 this year after they lost to Houston by a score of 20-16 in their last game. Los Angeles cut the deficit to 14-3 in the second quarter and 17-10 in the third, but they allowed a field goal with about six minutes left to seal the loss. The Chargers were out gained by a total of 362-275, went 6-15 on third downs, and won the turnover battle by a total of 2-1 in the game. Justin Herbert went 21-32 for 236 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while also rushing six times for 37 yards. Broncos vs Chargers Prediction

Denver comes into this matchup needing a win to lock up the one seed in the AFC, while Los Angeles is going to wave the white flag and rest their starters. The Broncos are 7-1 at home this year and while they struggle to put teams away, they have been great at winning close games. Los Angeles will be starting Trey Lance at quarterback, which will be interesting, but I just don’t see how he is going to play well with their offensive line issues. Denver hasn’t covered a number like this very often, but I expect a statement win here. Take the Broncos.
