Chicago Bears vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction 11/8/26 NFL Picks Today

Bears vs Buccaneers Prediction

I’ll go with the Bears here. Chicago is fresh off an impressive Monday night road win over the Seahawks, notching 22 first downs, 363 total yards and 7-of-15 on third downs. The Bears defense gave up 18 first downs, 252 yards and just 1-of-11 on third-down tries. The only real blemish was Chicago’s 10 penalties for 85 yards. That makes three straight wins for the Bears, and their offense is cooking. Chicago has notched 30 or more points in all three of those, and 27 or more points in five of their six victories this year.

As for Tampa Bay, they’re coming off a wild win over the Falcons, taking the victory despite not completing a single pass. The wet conditions made it a defensive battle, and the Bucs unit gave up just eight first downs, 224 total yards and a futile 0-of-12 success rate on third downs while also picking up four interceptions. It was a weird victory but Tampa Bay will take it. They’ve now won three of the last four. Going into Chicago to face a pretty tough Bears team sounds like a little too tall of an order, though.

Game Info, Stats and Previews

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears meet Sunday in NFL action from Soldier Field in Chicago. Here’s a collection of relevant information and reasoning for a sound Bears vs Buccaneers prediction. We have looked at this information from a betting perspective and attempted to determine the best Bears vs Bucs pick.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Preview

Tampa Bay hasn’t been able to get much going this year. The Buccaneers lost their first four games out of the gate, falling to the Bengals, Browns, Vikings and Packers. Tampa Bay would get their first win of the season over Dallas, but then fell to Pittsburgh in overtime. Following another win versus the Carolina Panthers, the Buccaneers had a 2-5 record through the first seven games of the year.

In the matchup with the Falcons on Sunday the Bucs got a couple of field goals in the first quarter and another in the second on the way to a 9-0 halftime lead. Tampa Bay got their only trip to the end zone in the third quarter and held on for the shutout victory at home 16-0. QB Baker Mayfield didn’t complete a pass (0-for-3) in the wet, messy environment. That’s the first time that’s happened to a winning team since 1974. Bucky Irving (170 yards; TD) and Kenny Gainwell (140 yards) did most of the heavy work on the ground.

Chicago Bears Betting Preview

Over on the Bears’ side, they’ve been doing pretty well overall this year with a couple of blemishes here and there. Chicago went 3-2 out of the gate, taking out Carolina, Philadelphia and the Jets with losses otherwise versus the Vikings and Packers. After wins over the Falcons and Patriots, the Bears posted a 5-2 overall record in their first seven outings this season.

Matched up against Seattle on Monday the Bears were able to notch a touchdown in the first quarter and a couple of field goals in the second for a 13-9 halftime lead. Chicago scored three more touchdowns in the second half and bagged a 34-17 victory to extend their win streak to three. QB Caleb Williams was 24-of-34 for 247 yards and a TD. D’Andre Swift carries 27 times for 69 yards and three scores while Romeo Odunze had four catches for 87 yards.
