Indianapolis Colts Betting Preview

The Indianapolis Colts are 1-0 this year after they defeated Miami by a score of 33-8 in their first game. Indianapolis led 3-0 after the first quarter and 20-0 at halftime, before cruising to the blowout win in the second half. The Colts out gained Miami by a total of 418-211, went 7-15 on third downs, and won the turnover battle by a margin of 3-0 in the game. Daniel Jones went 22-29 for 272 yards and one touchdown, while Michael Pittman Jr caught six passes for 80 yards and one score. Jonathan Taylor was the leading rusher for Indianapolis with 18 carries for 71 yards in the win. The Indy defense was led by Nick Cross and Charvarius Ward, who both had six tackles, while the team had three sacks and four tackles for loss.

Indianapolis got off to a great start this season with an easy win last week against Miami. The Colts dominated the entire game and held the ball for 38:43. Indianapolis had some question marks coming into the season around their quarterback situation, but Jones was fantastic in his debut. It obviously helped that Miami had no interest in competing, but it was a very solid start for the Colts.

Denver Broncos Betting Preview

The Denver Broncos are 1-0 this season after they defeated Tennessee by a score of 20-12 last week. Denver was tied at three after the first quarter, but they led by just one point at the half. The Broncos trailed 12-10 early in the third quarter, but they scored the last 10 points to escape with the victory. Denver out gained Tennessee by a total of 317-133, went 6-15 on third down conversions, and lost the turnover battle by a total of 4-2 in the win. Bo Nix went 25-40 for 176 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while RJ Harvey rushed six times for 70 yards. Courtland Sutton led the Denver receivers with six catches for 61 yards and one touchdown, while Troy Franklin caught four passes for 44 yards in the win. The Denver defense was led by Talanoa Hufanga, who had 11 total tackles in the game, while the team had six sacks and seven tackles for loss.

Denver dominated the total yardage in their win over Tennessee, but they had issues with turnovers and were actually losing in the second half. The Broncos need to clean some things up in practice this week, but the defense had plenty of pressure on the quarterback and held Tennessee to just 2-14 on third downs. Denver also benefitted from 13 penalties for 131 yards on the Titans in the win.

Colts vs Broncos Prediction

Both of these teams picked up wins to start the season in week one, but Indianapolis was dominant and they will be at home here. The Colts will look for another solid outing from Jones at quarterback, but this Denver defense is great at creating pressure and causing turnovers. The Denver offense had trouble with turnovers last week, but I do think they will play better here. I know the Colts looked great last week, but I am not sold on them or Daniel Jones. Take the Broncos to win on the road.
