The Los Angeles Rams and the Dallas Cowboys meet in a Madden 20 NFL simulation game on Saturday night.
The Los Angeles Rams will look to rebound after a 33-22 loss to Seattle in their last sim appearance. Cooper Kupp leads the offense for L.A. as well as the receiving group with an 87 overall rating with 94 agility and 95 catching while Robert Woods is not far off of the pace with an 86 overall rating including 94 catching and Brandin Cooks follows at 85 overall with 95 speed, 92 acceleration and 95 agility. Todd Gurley II leads the Rams’ rushing attack at 86 overall with 91 speed and 91 acceleration as well as 95 agility and 89 carrying. On defense, Aaron Donald is one of the s five highly sought after 99 overall rated players with 90 acceleration, 99 power move, 96 finesse move, 97 block shedding, 93 impact blocking and 92 tackling. Jalen Ramsey leads the Rams’ secondary at 94 overall with 95 man coverage and 95 zone coverage with 92 speed, 93 acceleration and 90 agility.
The Dallas Cowboys will look to build off of a 38-13 win over Cleveland in their last sim game. Ezekiel Elliott leads the Cowboys on offense, rated 93 overall at RB with 90 speed, 91 acceleration and 95 agility while Amari Cooper leads the Cowboys’ receiving group at 91 overall with 92 speed, 96 agility and 89 catching. Dak Prescott has an 81 overall rating as starting QB with 87 thiteming power and 88 short pass accuracy. The Cowboys also have some size on their offensive line, with Zack Martin sporting a team-high 97 overall rating while Tyron Smith is at left tackle at 91 overall. On the defensive end, Byron Jones and Demarcus Lawrence lead the way for the Cowboys, both at 88 overall, with Lawrence owning a 93 finesse move rating, 89 power move and 88 block shedding rating while Jones has 92 speed, 94 acceleration and 96 agility to go along with an 84 man coverage rating and 90 zone coverage rating in the Cowboys’ secondary.
Part of me is always weary about laying points with Dallas, but if the game against the Bitemns showed anything, it’s that the Cowboys are a force more often than not in this game, and while the Rams have some decent players, just like in reality, the Rams can’t catch a break and end up losing a lot of winnable games. I just like Dallas more than I do L.A. here, so I’ll lay the points with Dallas in this spot.
