Green Bay Packers vs Dallas Cowboys Prediction 10/18/26 NFL Picks Today

The Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers meet Sunday in NFL action from Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Here’s a Packers vs Cowboys prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Packers vs Cowboys pick.

Dallas Cowboys Betting Preview

Dallas has been alternating wins with losses this year in a rocky start. The Cowboys lost to the New York Giants in their opener, then beat the Washington Commanders ahead of another loss 34-31 versus Baltimore. Game four was a win over Houston 34-30 on the road, then came a loss to Tampa Bay. Over five games so far the Cowboys are just 2-3 in the books.

In the Thursday matchup versus the Bucs, the Cowboys managed a TD and a field goal in the first half for a slim lead 10-7 at the break. Dallas gave up 17 unanswered points in the third quarter though, and eventually lost the game 24-16. QB Dak Prescott was 24-of-42 for 316 yards, one TD and two interceptions. Javonte Williams had 12 carries for 45 yards and a TD.

Green Bay Packers Betting Preview

Over on the Green Bay side, they also opened up the season with a rocky run and alternating wins and losses. The first outing was a 39-22 loss to the rival Minnesota Vikings, then came an overtime victory versus the lowly New York Jets. The Pack followed that up with a loss to the Falcons and a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a 2-2 start to the year.

Matched up against the Bears last weekend the Packers got a couple of touchdowns in the first half and went into the break with a 14-7 lead. Green Bay kept it rolling from there and ended up with a nice-looking 31-7 victory against their rivals. QB Jordan Love was 25-of-31 for 367 yards and two scores. MarShawn Lloyd carried 10 times for 31 yards and two scores as well.

Packers vs Cowboys Prediction

I’ll stay with the Pack. Green Bay put up a nice statement win against a good Bears team last weekend, despite going a fairly rough 4-of-12 on third downs. The Packers managed 18 first downs with 428 total yards, and held the Bears to just 246 total yards with 4-of-14 on third downs defensively. Green Bay has another comfy home game here and I like them to keep it going.

As for Dallas, they notched another limp effort in their latest loss last Thursday. The Cowboys gave up 419 total yards in that one with 24 first downs and 241 rushing yards. Offensively Dallas managed 366 yards with 20 first downs and three turnovers. Dallas does have 30 or more points in three of five games this year, but they’re hard to trust.
