Raheim Sanders added 42 rushing yards and a TD with his 10 carries while DJ Uiagalelei’s lone pass attempt went for 49 yards. Hassan Haskins also added 33 rushing yards while Dalevon Campbell had a team-high 3 receptions for 62 yards. On defense, Emany Johnson added a team-high 11 total tackles with 8 solo tackles while Marlowe Wax chipped in a team-high 9 solo tackles and a sack. Caleb Murphy added a pair of sacks while Jamaree Caldwell and Tony Jefferson each had sacks as well in the win. Eric Rogers added a pair of interceptions including a pick-six as well for the Charger defense in the win.

The Los Angeles Rams come into this game looking to build on their 31-21 win over Dallas last time out to kick off the preseason on the right foot. After this game, the Rams will head on the road for a game against the Cleveland Browns.
Rams Looking To Keep Ball Rolling
Stetson Bennett IV threw for 188 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception on 16 of 24 passing while Cody Schrader rushed for a team-high 59 yards on 5 carries and Jarquez Hunter added 11 carries with 41 rushing yards. Blake Corum chipped in 32 rushing yards and a pair of rushing TD for the Rams’ backfield. Xavier Smith led the Rams in receiving with 3 grabs for 55 yards while Britain Covey added 31 receiving yards and Brennan Presley and the aforementioned Schrader each had a TD as well through the air. On defense, Nate Valcarcel added a team-high 10 total tackles while Tony Fields II had 9 total tackles and a team-high 6 solo tackles. Josaiah Stewart added a sack and Cam Lampkin added an interception as well in the win.

I’m on the over in this one. You have two teams that have really looked impressive out of the gate in the preseason and I think that the fireworks continue here. The Chargers have something going with Trey Lance as the dual threat QB and the Rams have a dangerous ground attack with a very capable backup QB option in Stetson Bennett.
