Rams Looking To Carry Over Momentum Into Regular Season
Stetson Bennett IV threw for 181 yards on 19 of 31 pasing while Ty Simpson threw for 72 yards on 8 of 12 passing. Jarquez Hunter rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries while Bennett IV rushed for a pair of touchdowns. CJ Daniels led the Rams with 8 grabs for 68 yards while Alex Bachman had 4 catches for 48 yards. On defense, Al’zillon Hamilton, Monty Rice and Cam Lampkin each had 6 total tackles to lead the way while Wesley Bailey had a sack. Hamilton also had an interception and Alex Cook had a 100-yard pick-six in the win.

The Los Angeles Chargers come into this game looking to rebound from their 41-17 loss at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers last time out to sit at 1-1 in the preseason. After this game, the Chargers will open the regular season with a game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Chargers Looking For Bounce Back
DJ Uiagalelei threw for 80 yards and a touchdown on 7 of 15 passing while Trey Lance threw for 73 yards on 10 of 16 passing and Justin Herbert had 9 passing yards on 1 of 2 passing. Lance rushed for a team-high 42 yards while Greg Desrosiers Jr. had 4 carries for 21 yards. Jerand Bradley led the Chargers in receiving with a 28-yard receiving TD while Oronde Gadsden and Devonte Ross each had 24 receviing yards. On defense, Lander Barton and Avery Smith each had a team-high 6 total tackles while Junior Colson had a 16 yard-pick six and Devin Grant added an interception as well in the loss.

I’m on the Rams in this one. I think a lot of this line is news coming out that the Chargers are going to let a lot of their starters see time, but the preseason for me is all about depth and the Rams have the best point differential through two games and we’ve not seen Matthew Stafford or many of the Rams’ starters. The Chargers didn’t look great against San Francisco and I’m just riding the wave with the Rams in this one.
