Randy’s Pick

I considered the Rams and the points based on what they did last week and the fact they’re a well coached team that can surprise from time to time. However, I do believe the 49ers performance is far more sustainable than what we saw from the Rams. Also, the 49ers have covered 7 of their last 9 games when a favorite of 7 or more points. The Rams have failed to cover 7 of their last 8 games when underdogs of 7 or more points. Trends aren’t everything, but sometimes they’re too glaring to ignore, and the line is what it is for a reason. Big number for a road team this early in the season, but I’ll grin my teeth and lay it.
