New England Patriots vs NY Jets Prediction 10-27-24 NFL Picks

The New York Jets and the New England Patriots meet Sunday in NFL action from Gillette Stadium. Here’s a New England Patriots vs NY Jets Prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Patriots vs Jets pick.

New York Jets Betting Preview

The Jets took a loss to the 49ers in their opener but then beat the Titans and Patriots in the next pair. New York would hit the skids after that, however, falling in succession to the Broncos, Vikings, and Bills.

In their Sunday night matchup versus the Steelers, the Jets went into the second half with a two-point lead but got outscored 24-0 from there in a 37-15 blowout loss. QB Aaron Rodgers had 276 yards, one score, and a couple of picks. Breece Hall led the rush on 12 carries for 38 yards and a score.

New England Patriots Betting Preview

Over on the Patriots’ side, they beat the Bengals in their opener 16-10. New England would hit a losing streak of their own after that, falling to the Seahawks, Jets, 49ers, Dolphins, and Texans over the next five outings.

In London on Sunday against the Jaguars, New England gave up 22 points in the second quarter during a 32-16 loss. Drake Maye finished with 276 yards and a pair of passing scores. Hunter Henry caught eight balls for 92 yards to pace the receivers.

New England Patriots vs NY Jets Prediction

I’m going with New England. The Pats gave up a healthy bit of offense to the Jaguars last weekend: 364 total yards (193 passing) and 23 first downs—not to mention the 6-of-10 rate on third-down tries. New England came up with just 38 rushing yards themselves, with 17 first downs. That makes 16 or fewer points in four of the last five games.

As for the Jets, they posted another miserable outing against the Steelers on national television last weekend. New York gave up 409 total yards (260 passing) and 6.2 yards per play while going just 3-of-10 on third downs themselves. The Jets can’t get out of their own way, and I don’t see them regrouping well enough to cover on the road this weekend.
