New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons Prediction 11-10-24 NFL Picks

The Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints will meet Sunday in NFL action from Caesars Superdome. Here’s a New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons Prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Falcons vs Saints pick.

Atlanta Falcons Betting Preview

Atlanta notched a 2-2 run over their first four games this year. The losses were to the Steelers and Chiefs; the wins otherwise came versus the Eagles and Saints. The Falcons would beat the Buccaneers (twice) and Panthers with a loss to the Seahawks over the next quartet.

In the Cowboys game last weekend, Atlanta put up points in every quarter (and allowed points in every quarter) along the way to a 27-21 win. QB Kirk Cousins bagged 222 yards with three scores. Darnell Mooney led the receivers with his five catches for 88 yards and a TD.

New Orleans Saints Betting Preview

Over on the Saints’ side, they beat the Panthers and Cowboys to start out the year, then hit a rough losing streak. New Orleans would fall to the Eagles, Falcons, Chiefs, Buccaneers, Broncos, and Chargers over the next six games.

In the second game versus the Panthers last weekend, the Saints held a 13-10 edge going into the second half. New Orleans couldn’t hang on, however, and ended up losing 23-22 in the end. Derek Carr logged 236 yards with a TD, and Alvin Kamara led the rush with 155 yards on 29 carries.

New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons Prediction

I’ll go with the Falcons here. Atlanta didn’t have the greatest offensive outing against the Cowboys last weekend but still got the job done. The Falcons managed 310 total yards with 17 first downs and a tepid 4-of-13 on third-down tries. The defense was pretty good at halting drives, though: Atlanta gave up just 4-of-18 on third- and fourth-down attempts.

As for New Orleans, they faded down the stretch in their matchup with Carolina, notching 10 penalties for 109 yards along the way in a sloppy effort. Overall the defense was pretty solid with 246 yards (166 passing) and 15 first downs allowed. The Saints will face a tougher offense this weekend though, and I don’t think they’ll keep a cover pace.
