NY Jets vs NY Giants Prediction

I might lean toward the Jets. Probably not touching this one, though. New York’s offensive stats against the Panthers leave something to be desired. The Jets posted just 202 total yards (85 passing) and 14 first downs. That said, the Jets also gave up just 156 total yards (56 passing) and 12 first downs on the other side. Carolina’s 10 penalties helped as well.

As for the Giants, they managed 279 total yards (205 passing) and a nice 6-of-12 on third downs in their loss to the Texans. New York also gave up a whopping five turnovers (three fumbles) and allowed 369 yards (255 passing) on defense. This is probably the Jets’ game to win if they leave the higher-tier defenders in for a while.
