Philadelphia Eagles vs Carolina Panthers Prediction 12-8-24 NFL Picks

The Carolina Panthers and the Philadelphia Eagles meet Sunday in NFL action from Lincoln Financial Field. Here’s a Philadelphia Eagles vs Carolina Panthers prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Eagles vs Panthers pick.

Carolina Panthers Betting Preview

The Panthers went into their bye week with a 3-7 record, falling to the Saints, Chargers, Bengals, Bears, Falcons, Commanders and Broncos. Carolina beat New Orleans and New York early this month, but they’ve since fallen to the Chiefs and Buccaneers.

In their matchup with the Bucs over the weekend, the Panthers were outscored 13-7 in the final quarter and eventually lost a tough one 26-23 in overtime. Bryce Young threw for 298 yards and a TD. Adam Thielen led the receivers with 99 yards and a score off eight grabs.

Philadelphia Eagles Betting Preview

Over on the Eagles’ side, they went into their bye with a 2-2 record. Philly has righted the ship since then however, beating the Browns, Giants, Bengals, Jaguars, Cowboys, Commanders, Rams, and Ravens in an eight-game streak.

On Sunday against Baltimore, the Eagles were in trouble with a 9-0 deficit after the first quarter. Philadelphia scored 24 points over the next three though, winning 24-19 in the end. Jalen Hurts threw for 118 yards with a pass TD and a rush score. Saquon Barkley carried 23 times for 107 yards and a touchdown.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Carolina Panthers Prediction

I’m probably just going to stay with Philly. The Eagles fought through a nice win over a tricky Baltimore team on Sunday despite a tepid 252 total yards (112 passing) and 17 first downs. Two missed field goals by the Ravens didn’t hurt either. Philadelphia has held opponents to 23 points or below in every game during this current win streak.

As for Carolina, they gave up 445 yards and 27 first downs to the Bucs in their last game but did hold Tampa to just 2-of-12 on third downs. The Panthers have simply struggled to score this year; they’ve failed to get past 24 points in any of their seven losses, and they’ve been at 24 or below in seven straight games (a 2-5 run). I don’t think Carolina has the gas to keep up with the Eagles offensively, especially in an away matchup.
