Philadelphia Eagles vs Tennessee Titans 12/4/22 NFL Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Tennessee Titans and the Philadelphia Eagles meet in week 13 NFL action from Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Tennessee Titans will look to rebound from a 20-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last time out. Ryan Tannehill has thrown for 1,976 yards. 10 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 65% passing while Derrick Henry leads the Titans with 1,048 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns so far this season. Robert Woods leads the Titans with 32 catches for 351 receiving yards while another pair receivers for the Titans have 300+ receceiving yards and another three receivers for Tennessee have 200+ receiving yards. On defense, David Long Jr. has a team-high 85 total tackles while Denico Autry has a team-high 7 sacks and Jeffery Simmons has 6.5 sacks as well. Rashad Weaver also has 5.5 sacks on the year for Tennessee.

The Philadelphia Eagles will hope to build on a 40-33 win over Green Bay in their last game. Jalen Hurts has thrown for 2,560 yards, 17 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on 67.3% passing while also rushing for 597 yards and 8 TDs. Miles Sanders has a team-high 900 rushing yards and 8 TDs while A.J. Brown has a team-high 831 receiving yards and 53 receptions this season. DeVonta Smith has 609 receiving yards while Dallas Goedert has 544 receiving yards as well this season. On defense, T.J. Edwards has a team-high 102 total tackles including 61 solo tackles while Philly’s defense as a unit has 36 sacks and 15 interceptions this season.

Tennessee is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games and 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall while the under is 7-1 in their last 8 games overall. Philadelphia is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record and 6-13-1 ATS in their last 20 games following an ATS win while the under is 7-1 in their last 8 games overall.

I get why the Eagles would be favored here as they have a tendency to play their best ball at home this season. However, the Eagles have had some issues stopping the run and that’s not good when you have this one guy on the other team named Derrick Henry. I just think this ends up being one of those 4-point games that’s close throughout and the team that’s behind that needs a touchdown late has their chance, but the defense holds strong. Give me the Titans and the points.
