Seattle Seahawks vs Tennessee Titans 9/19/21 NFL Picks, Odds, Predictions

The Seattle Seahawks meet the Tennessee Titans in week 2 NFL action from Lumen Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Tennessee Titans will be out to rebound from a disappointing 38-13 loss to the Cardinals last time out. Ryan Tannehill threw for 212 yards, a touchdown and an INT on 21 of 35 passing while rushing for a touchdown as well. Derrick Henry had 58 rushing yards while A.J. Brown had a touchdown reception and Chester Rogers led the Tntans’ receiving group with 4 catches for 62 yards. Defensively, Janoris Jenkins had a team-high 8 solo tackles while Kevin Byard had an interception and Jeffery Simmons and Harold Landry III had a sack apiece.

The Seattle Seahawks will attempt to build on their 28-16 win over the Colts from their last game. Russell Wilson threw for 254 yards and 4 touchdowns on 18 of 23 passing while Chris Carson had 91 rushing yards on 16 carries to lead Seattle’s ground attack. Tyler Lockett led the Seahawks with 4 catches for 100 yards and a pair of TDs while DK Metcalf had 4 grabs for 60 yards with a score and Gerald Everett had a touchdown catch as well in the win. Defensively, Bobby Wagner led the Seahawks with 13 total tackles while Darrell Taylor, Benson Mayowa and Rasheem Green all had a sack in the win for the Seahawks.

Tennessee is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games on turf while the over is 7-3 in their last 10 games following a loss. Seattle is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 September games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 8-2 in their last 10 games overall.

It’ll be interesting to see how these two size up this game after completely different week 1 matchups. With that said, I don’t think either side’s going to sit back and wait for the other to make the first move. I expect this to be on from the opening kick and for the game to finish over the number.
