I’ll lean toward the Titans, but you could call it either way. Tennessee finished off their preseason with a pretty limp outing versus the Bears—despite Chicago’s 10 penalties for 71 yards. The Titans posted 259 yards (174 passing) on offense with just 13 first downs and 3-of-11 on third-down tries. Tennessee gave up 398 yards (291 passing) with 19 first downs on defense.
As for the Jets, they didn’t look great in their final preseason game—but it’s exhibition, so take it with a proverbial grain of salt. In that one, the Jets posted just 139 yards (68 passing) on offense with 3.0 yards per play, 12 first downs, and a 3-of-10 success rate on third-down tries. Numbers like that aren’t going to get it done, even with the Jets’ very modest expectations for the 2026 season. Six or seven wins this year would be considered a step forward. This is one of those winnable games if New York plays well.
