Commanders vs Seahawks Prediction 11/2/25 NFL Picks Today

The Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Commanders meet Sunday in NFL action from Northwest Stadium. Here’s a Commanders vs Seahawks prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Commanders vs Seahawks pick.

Seattle Seahawks Betting Preview

This year the Seahawks have been a mixed bag, but they’ve managed to carve out a winning record so far. Seattle kicked off with a loss to the San Francisco 49ers then took out the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals in the next three outings. The Seahawks would then lose to the Buccaneers before an eight-point road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. In that one Seattle held the opposition to just 273 total yards, 59 rush yards, 4.0 yards per play, 17 first downs and 4-of-16 on third-down tries. The Seahawks offense struggled on 1-of-12 during third-down conversions however, and had only 13 first downs total. The Jags’ 10 penalties didn’t hurt either, though.

In their most recent outing on October 20 at home versus the Houston Texans in a Monday evening matchup, the Seahawks scored 14 points in the first quarter and 13 more in the third during a 27-19 win. QB Sam Darnold was 17-of-31 for 213 yards, one TD and one pick, while Kenneth Walker had 17 carries for a team-high 66 yards. Zach Charbonnet had 49 yards and two scores off 12 carries, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba had eight catches for 123 yards and a touchdown in the winning home effort.

Washington Commanders Betting Preview

Over on the Washington side, they managed to go 2-2 over their first four outings. The wins in that time were versus the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders; the losses otherwise were against the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons. Washington would then beat the Los Angeles Chargers before losses to the Chicago Bears and the Dallas Cowboys. In the Cowboys road game, the Commanders gave up double-digit points in each of the first three quarters in a 44-22 outcome. The Washington defense surrendered 409 total yards, 6.6 yards per play, 21 first downs and 6-of-12 on third-down conversion attempts in the loss.

Matched up against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, the Commanders were able to keep pace for the first half, heading to the locker room with a 7-7 tie. Washington was outpaced 21-0 the rest of the way however, resulting in a 28-7 loss in the end. QB Marcus Mariota was 21-of-30 for 213 yards, one TD and two picks while also leading an anemic rush with just 28 yards on eight carries. Jeremy McNichols was the top team receiver in the losing effort with five grabs for 64 yards and Terry McLaurin caught the score off three receptions for 54 yards total.

Commanders vs Seahawks Prediction

I’m going to stay with the Seahawks. Seattle really needs to clean up their act on offense after a rough, rough effort in a win over the Texans on October 20, though. The Seahawks coughed up four turnovers in that one along with an abysmal 2-of-14 success rate on third downs, not to mention the 12 overall penalties. Luckily the defense did well with 254 yards, 18 first downs and 2-of-15 on third downs allowed in the 27-19 win at home. Seattle’s offense is quite good when it’s on point, but their consistency leaves much to be desired.

As for Washington, they didn’t look terrible in the first half versus the Chiefs but ultimately notched just 260 total yards, 14 first downs and two interceptions in the three-touchdown loss Monday. The defense gave up 432 yards on the other side but did okay on third downs (4-of-10) and had a couple of picks. I’m not thrilled about the Commanders these days.
