Tyler Seguin is certainly enjoying his move to the Lone Star State as the young dynamic forward has compiled three goals and eight points through the first six games of the season. All the scrutiny he was under in Boston was getting a little absurd and now he seems highly motivated to prove that he's not an immature kid but one of the future stars of this league. He chipped in with a goal the other night as the Stars sent the San Jose Sharks to their first loss of the season with a 4-3 victory. Trevor Daley and Cody Eakin also scored and Alex Chiasson scored the game winner in the shootout. It doesn't get any easier for them with a trip to Los Angeles to take on Jonathan Quick and the Kings. Los Angeles is happy to be getting home after a four game road trip that saw them pick up three wins. Aside from their brutal performance in Tampa Bay against the Lightning they played some solid hockey and got good goaltending. Now they face the always tough challenge of playing that first game at home after a long road trip. Those are never easy but the Kings should have enough in this one.
