After a couple of hiccups up in Canada the Anaheim Ducks have rebounded with consecutive wins over the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets. This lengthy road trip is nearing an end and there's nothing the Ducks would like more than to make this a great one. Corey Perry scored late in the third period against the Blue Jackets to break a 3-3 tie and give Anaheim a victory. Emerson Etem, Peter Holland, and Ryan Getzlaf also scored and Frederik Anderson survived a shaky performance to pick up the win. This Ducks club just plays so well together and they really give teams in the Eastern Conference a problem. Things are looking a little better for the Flyers as they've put together two conesecutive wins. Saturday's performance against the Islanders was especially encouraging because Philadelphia actually remembered how to score. They tallied five tallies, Vincent Lecavalier contributing three of them, in a 5-2 defeat of New York. It won't be as easy against this Ducks club but at least the Flyers are starting to build up some confidence and remember that they're able to put the puck in the net. For a lot of these guys it's the confidence that's missing and having a game like that can make a huge difference. They'll need Steve Mason to continue his strong play in this one because the Ducks are at a whole different level than the Islanders.
