Friday night was about as big of an embarrassment as you're going to see from any team at any point this season. The Philadelphia Flyers embarrassed themselves all over the ice and Ray Emery took things to the next level with his antics in the team's 7-0 beat down by the Washington Capitals. It seems like when anyone comes to Philadelphia they feel the need to portray this image of what they think a Flyer is, but Philadelphia would benefit right now from these guys figuring out how to play hockey. They've been putrid all year long and Friday night was the worst of the worst. If they don't start to turn things around quicklythis season is going to get away from them in a real hurry. They'll be taking on a New Jersey Devils club that's feeling much better about themselves after a couple of wins and will be looking to jump on the Flyers early knowing that Philadelphia played the night before. Jaromir Jagr and Martin Brodeur led the Devils in their last game but New Jersey will need some of their youngsters to get going if they're going to be consistent this season. This is the type of game where they should take advantage of a disgruntled Philadelphia club.
