The St. Louis Blues look to continue their dominance in Florida as they head to Tampa Bay to take on the Lightning who is coming off an impressive victory over the Hurricanes.
The Blues continue their road trip in Florida on Saturday night as they travel to Sunrise to Tampa Bay just a day after dismantling the Panthers to the tune of a 4-0 mark and will look for a similar result against an underrated Lightning team. St. Louis unquestionably is one of the best teams in the league as they have a very skilled tandem of goaltenders, a blue line that rivals anyone in the league, and a very deep forward unit that seems to find a way to produce every night. St. Louis has just a single loss so far this season in regulation and they have won three games in a row heading into their clash with the Lightning on Saturday. Jaroslav Halak gets the call for St. Louis as he tries to emulate Brian Elliott’s effort last night as he blanked the Panthers. Ben Bishop gets the call in goal for the Bolts.

Tampa Bay went into Carolina last night and pulled off a defensive gem of their own as they shutout the Hurricanes by a 3-0 mark which could have very well been the team’s best effort of the season. The Bolts are a dangerous club this season as they have established who their starting netminder is in Ben Bishop who has been absolutely brilliant and they have developed a strong defensive game to add to their already impressive forward arsenal. The Lightning head home to face one of their stiffest tests yet but with Bishop playing against the team that drafted him and subsequently gave up on him by trading him to the Senators you can expect he will he ready to make a point here tonight. There is great value to be had on both teams in this game and while I really like the side in this game I’ll be posting that in the Premium Area. As for the free play I like this one to stay a little contained as both teams are in a back to back and both goaltenders have played well so I think we see a hardnosed affair that will be low scoring.
