It's been a great start to the year for the Los Angeles Kings and with Jonathan Quick finally finding his groove that could spell trouble for the rest of the Western Conference. Tuesday night's tilt in Buffalo marks the first of a four game road trip for the Kings that takes them to Buffalo, New York, and New Jersey with four contests in front of them. Los Angeles has won three of their last four games and are coming off an impressive 5-1 win over the Vancouver Canuckson Saturday night. The Kings controlled the game from the start against a Vancouver club that came in playing pretty well. This is a let down spot for any team traveling to Buffalo to take on the lowly Sabres, but if the Kings play to their level they shouldn't have many problems. Anaheim showed us a strong Western Conference club that put some effort into their games with the Sabres and they ran them out of the building on two different occassions. As long as Quick and the Kings show up for this one there shouldn't be a problem. Los Angeles is too physical for this Sabres squad and Quick has the ability to match Miller save-for-save. In fact, look for Quick to be at the top of his game as he tries to show the leaders of United States hockey that he's the man for the job in the Sochi Olympics.
