The Montreal Canadiens welcome the Vancouver Canucks to the Bell Centre on Thursday.
Vancouver found the going tough Tuesday with a 3-1 loss at TD Garden versus the surging Bruins. Boston won their sixth contest in seven tries so the Canucks might have been in the wrong place at the wrong time more then anything. Of course the visitors play didn't help the situation as they dropped number five in a row with Raphael Diaz lighting the lamp for the only offense the Canucks could muster which wasn't enough with Roberto Luongo allowing three goals on 32 shots. Milan Lucic, Daniel Paille and Jarome Iginla scoring for the Bruins with Tuukka Rask recording 27 saves.

Calgary began Tuesday night red hot and ended the night looking to start another hot streak after the offense was nowhere to be found in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Montreal. The Flames could not solve Carey Price who made 27 stops to pick up his fourth shutout of the season. Rene Bourque broke a scoreless duel with a second period tally at the 16:15 mark with David Desharnais taking all the mystery out of this one with an empty net goal with under 60 ticks remaining. Karri Ramo is out with an injury but Reto Berra was nothing short of outstanding with a 25 save performance in the defeat. The Flames had their chances with a 5 on 3 powerplay in the second but couldn't get the puck past Price.
Vancouver has dropped five in a row so that has me looking at the Habs even though they aren't racking up the wins. The Canucks won't lose forever but I just need them to lose one more...
