The Boston Bruins visit the Tampa Bay Times Forum to take the ice with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
After a brief slowdown where the Bruins didn't seem to be themselves, the Bruins have righted the ship with three consecutive victories and four of six following a 3-0 victory over visiting Washington on Thursday. Loui Anderson, Gregory Campbell and Brad Marchand each found the back of the net while Tuukka Rask turned in another outstanding performance. Although he saw just 16 shots, Rask posted his league best sixth shutout for the Atlantic Division leaders. At the other end of the ice Brad Holtby was blitzed with 43 shots as the Caps fell for the third straight time.

Buffalo fans are probably wondering where this team has been all season after a 3-1 decision at Tampa Bay on Thursday gave the Sabres their fourth win in five contests since the Oympic break. The Lightning have now dropped three in a row and are also wondering why the Sabres had to pick now to get hot. Tyler Myers, Marcus Foligno and Cody Hodgson supplied the offense for the visitors with Jhonas Enroth withering 43 shots to pick up the win. Oddly the lone Lightning talley was of the shorthanded variety off the stick of Tyler Johnson late in the finale period. Anders Lindbeck recorded 18 stops and showed some rust from missing five weeks.
This series has been dominated by the home team which has gone 21-7 in the last 28 meetings which might give some thought about backing Tampa Bay but they have lost a few and the Bruins have won a few so I'll ponder this waiting for goalie confirmation at which time I'll have a pick...
