The Nashville Predators pay a visit to the United Center to take the ice with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Nashville outscored Calgary 6-5 on Friday in what could only be described as a track meet on ice with very little deffense played. Matt Cullen scored the game winner with just under three minutes remaining with Shea Weber adding a pair of goals while Victor Bartley and Viktor Stalberg also found the back of the net. Pekka Rinne struggled in the net with with four goals given up on 18 shots before getting the hook in favor of Carter Hutton. Mike Cammalleri gave Calgary two goals with Mikael Backlund and Kris Russell scoring with Joni Ortio having a seat with four goals allowed on 13 shots with Joey MacDonald allowing two scores on nine shots.

Watch out St Louis, Chicago is right on your bumper. The Blackhawks are within four points of the division leading Blues following a 3-2 decision over visiting Carolina on Friday. Without Patrick Kane who is lost for the remainder of the season, the Hawks received second period tallies from Kris Versteeg and Patrick Sharp with Jonathan Toews scoring the game winner down a man in the third to make Corey Crawford's 26 saves stand up for the win. Alexander Semin was the offense for the Hurricanes with both tallies with one coming on a two man advantage. Anton Khudobin recorded 22 saves in the loss for the Canes who have dropped three of four.
Nashville is 2-7 in the last nine head to heads overall and 7-15 in the last 22 visits to Chicago. That has me looking at the Blackhawks but the price will be steep so I'll think on this while waiting for goalies to be announced...
