Rexall Place and the Edmonton Oilers play host to the New York Rangers in Sunday night NHL action.
The Rangers fell behind Calgary on the road before a strong rally went for not in a 4-3 defeat on Friday. New York spotted the home team a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes then seemed to grab back all the momentum with three consecutive tallies in the second. However, the Flames took the fight to the Rangers with a pair of goals before the middle stanza ended to take a 4-3 lead in to the third with neither offense able to light the lamp. Brad Richards, Brian Boyle and Raphael Diaz each found the back of the net for New York with the loss going to Henrik Lundqvist who posted 24 saves who saw their lead over Philadelphia cut to a point. Joe Colborne, Mark Giordano, Mike Cammalleri and Kevin Westgarth provided the Flames with offense with Kari Ramo posting 38 saves.

Edmonton faced a tough task in visiting Anaheim but came up big with a 4-3 decision in overtime. Andrew Ference sent the home crowd away with smiles on their faces when he beat Jonas Hiller with 1:09 remaining in the extra session. Oscar Klefbom, Jordan Eberle and Sam Gagner scored in regulation for Edmonton who still needed 48 saves from Ben Scrivens to end a three game losing streak. The Ducks received goals from Mathieu Perreault, Nick Bonino and Patrick Maroon with Jonas Hiller recording 19 saves in the defeat which ended a modest win streak at two. The Ducks are just a single point behind San Jose for the top spot in the Pacific and have two games in hand.
These teams don't face one another often so even if we had trends to look at I wouldn't have faith in them. The bottom line is do you want to lay juice on the road with the better team or not. I lean New York but I won't lay the juice until I know who is in the nets and then still won't lay much chalk...
