The St. Louis Blues look to continue racking up the wins when the Buffalo Sabres visit the Scottrade Center.
Buffalo has been in a season long funk which is another word for struggling but they could decide who goes or doesn't go to the postseason. The Sabres put the Devils playoff drive on hold with a 3-2 shootout decision Tuesday. Ville Leino ended the Sabres four game slide with a goal in the 9th round which has New Jersey three games behind the Blue Jackets for the second Wild Card. Tyler Ennis scored both regulation goals with Nathan Lieuwen recorded his first career win on 33 saves. Tuomo Ruutu and Dainius Zubrus tallied for the Devils with Cory Schneider stopping 25 shots in the defeat.

St. Louis might be in a little hot water should they eventually face Philadelphia in the posteason because the Flyers seem to match up well for them. The Flyers easily handled the Blues 4-1 at the Wells Fargo Center two weeks ago and St Louis exacted a measure of revenge with a 1-0 decision on Tuesday in a shootout. It certainly wasn't easy with both defenses and netminders being airtight. TJ Oshie and Kevin Shattenkirk scored in the shootout with Ryan Miller stopping Claude Giroux and Vincent LeCavalier to secure the win. Miiller posted 31 saves in regulation and overtime to get the victory while Ray Emery totaled 28 stops in the loss as the Flyers remained third in the Metropolitan behind the NYR.
Buffalo is 2-11 in the last 13 meetings and 1-5 in their last six trips to St Louis while the over has gone 4-1-1 in the past six. The line will be out of this world regardless of who is in the net but I want to see netminders first anyway...
