The Line: St. Louis Blues -191 / Colorado Avalanche +173 --- Over/Under: 5 See the Latest Odds

The Colorado Avalanche and St. Louis Blues will play Saturday afternoon in a battle between two high caliber playoff teams. This is the fourth and final regular season meeting between the two teams, and the Blues lead the series 3-0.

The Avalanche have been on a tear lately, winning five straight games, and four of which were decided in extra regulation. Goalie Semyon Varlamov has been the catalyst behind this run, as he’s allowed two or less goals in six of his last seven starts. Offensively, Gabriel Landeskog has led the charge recently, racking up five goals, two assists and seven points in his last five games. The Colorado Avalanche are 23-10-1-2 on the road this season.

The Blues are looking to win a couple more games and lock up the top seed in the Western Conference. So far, the Blues have won five of their last six games. Much like the Avalanche, the Blues are getting terrific production out of their goalies, as Ryan Miller has allowed one or less goal in two of his last three starts and Brian Elliot has allowed no more than two goals in his last five games. Offensively, the Blues have scored at least one power play goal in three of their last five games. The St. Louis Blues are 28-6-3-1 at home.

The Avalanche are 9-2 in their last 11 vs. Central and 4-0 in their last 4 games following a win. The Blues are 41-14 in their last 55 home games and 38-14 in their last 52 games playing on 1 days rest. The home team is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings and the Avalanche are 0-5 in the last 5 meetings in St. Louis.

Despite what the odds say, this game could really go either way. Both teams are red hot and playing well heading into the playoffs. That's why I'm going to take the Avalanche and the plus money. It's not very often you're going t get Colorado at this price. Take advantage of it.
