The Colorado Avalanche go in search of a rare road win at the Vancouver Canucks Thursday night.
Red hot Colorado continued to churn out the wins with a 4-1 at Edmonton on Tuesday. The playoff bound Avalanche are in a heated battle for first in the Central Division and Western Conference with each having three games remaining. Paul Stastny, Erik Johnson, Tyson Barrie and Jamie McGinn each found the back of the net while Jean-Sebastian Giguere posted 22 saves to lead the Avalanche to wins in seven of eight. On the flip side the last place Oilers lone goal came off the stick of David Perron while Ben Scrivens gave up the four scores on 33 shots to take the defeat.

Eddie Lack stopped 20 shots in the loss as Edmonton has dropped four of five.
