The Philadelphia Flyers clash with the New York Rangers in game four of their series Friday night.
After dropping game number two to visiting Philadelphia in New York the Rangers returned the favorwith a 4-1 decision at the Wells Fargo Center to take a 2-1 series lead. Much has been made of the Rangers supposed dominance over their rivals and it played out that way Tuesday with the visitors flexing their muscles at both ends of the ice to erase any momentum the Flyers might have had.

Henrik Lundqvist recorded 31 saves to pick up the win while four different players found the back of the net. Dan Girardi and Martin St. Louis scored and added an assist with Derek Stepan and Daniel Carcillo also lighting the lamp. Philadelphia received their lone goal in the first from Mark Streit but Ray Emery struggled with all four goals allowed on 20 shots before getting the hook in favor of Steve Mason who stopped three shots in relief but wasn't slated to play because of an injury.
Game two started out much the same with New York leading 2-1 after 20 minutes but the Flyers scored three straight times for a 4-2 victory. That wasn't going to happen again with Lundqvist standing tall between the pipes combining with an efficient offense that scored when they had to against Emery who was not as sharp as he had hoped. I am looking at game four and want to see who Philly tabs for the start in goal before making a pick but I lean Rangers and hope I'm wrong as a Flyers fan...
