The Boston Bruins look to advance to round two with a game five victory over the Detroit Red Wings.
Boston proved why they were the best team in hockey once again as they went on the road and knocked off Detroit 3-2 in overtime Thursday to take a 3-1 series lead. The Bruins appeared to be in danger of dropping a crucial game three with the Red Wings taking a 2-0 lead in the second before the visitors clamped down on defense and reeled off the next three goals.

Jarome Iginla tipped in a shot by Dougie Hamilton with just under 6 1/2 minutes left in the extra session to complete the Bruins comeback while Torey Krug tallied in the second with the man advantage and Milan Lucic scored early in the final frame. Tuukka Rask was strong between the pipes with 35 saves in the win. Niklas Kronwall and Pavel Datsyuk provided the scoring for Detroit while also assisting on each other's goals. Jonas Gustavsson recorded 37 saves in his first ever postseason start in a strong but losing effort.
The Bruins won the President's Trophy because they can put the puck in the net and clamp down on opposing attacks while never falling in to a state of panic. The job now is to close out a veteran Red Wings squad that will be playing with desperation in the ultimate must win scenario. I'm leaning Bruins while I wait for the lines but I need to see the juice first...
