The Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings continue their series at the Honda Center on Monday.
Los Angeles defeated Anaheim 3-2 in overtime Saturday to take a 1-0 series lead. The Kings looked dead in the water in the waning seconds with Jonathan Quick pulled for the extra attacker and trailing 2-1. However Brad Richards put the puck on Jonas Hiller and Marian Gaborik batted the airborne rubber between the legs of Hiller for the equilizer with a mere seven seconds remaining in regulation.

Gaborik wasn't through with the heroics as he tipped in a pass from Anze Kopitar in the extra session that bounced off the post and past Hiller to send the Los Angeles bench in to celebration at the 12:07 mark. Alec Martinez also scored on a first period power play with Kopitar posting three assists while Quick recorded 33 saves in the victory. Anaheim received goals from Matt Belesky and Teemu Selanne with Hiller charged with all three goals on 36 shots.
This game might have been one that Anaheim let get away and is the type that could back to haunt them. Aside from the late score the Kings went through a stetch of over 17 minutes were they did not register a shot on goal so the Ducks were great in stretches and unfortunate as well. The keys for the Kings in game two is consistency at the offensive end and apply pressure for 60 minutes while the Ducks need to shake off this disappointment and find a way to neutralize Quick.
