The Montreal Canadiens host the Boston Bruins at the Bell Centre in game three on Tuesday night.
Boston exploded late in game number two to rally past Montreal and even their series at a game apiece Saturday afternoon. The Bruins followed the same script as in the opener; fall behind by a pair of goals and rally late to take the lead. The difference was the second one went in to the win column as the offense kept scoring. The Canadiens are probably a little shellshocked as they too a 3-1 lead in the final stanza and couldn't lock things up once again but this time it cost them.

Daniel Paille opened the scoring with a first period tally but Montreal responded in the second with Mike Weaver scoring at 1:09 of the second to draw even with Thomas Vanek giving the Habs a 2-1 lead with less then two minutes left before intermission. Vanek again lit the lamp at 6:30 of the third for what appeared to be enough with a 3-1 advantage but the Bruins were just getting warmed up. Dougie Hamilton scored to close the gap to one before Patrice Bergeron netted the equalizer with under six minutes left. Reilly Smith's wrister gave the B's the lead with just over 3 1/2 minutes remaining before a wrist shot off the stick of Milan Lucic at the 18:54 mark capped off a wild third.
The Canadiens seemed on the verge of cementing their strong play whenever Boston takes the ice with a 3-1 lead in the third before failing to close it out. That being said the Habs will remember this one if they fail to win the series for obvious reasons. The keys to game three are straight forward in my view and rather obvious. The Bruins can't fall behind and expect to come back and Montreal has to finish strong when leading. Check back Tuesday for a pick by the afternoon...
