The Pittsburgh Penguins battle the New York Rangers in a winner take all game seven on Tuesday.
Pittsburgh could not put the pesky Rangers away in game six and now face the prospect of a do or die game number seven at the Consol Energy Center on Tuesday night. New York skated away with a 3-1 victory as they followed the script from game five; get an early lead and turn things over to Henrik Lundqvist and company which turned out to be a perfect plan.

New York drew first blood at 3:34 of the first when a shot of the stick of Anton Stralman bounced off of Martin St. Louis and past Marc-Andre Fleury. The lead doubled just over three minutes later when Carl Hagelin's backhand went under the arm of Fleury and was the second straight game the NYR held a 2-0 lead.
Brandon Sutter finally got the Penguins on the scoreboard to end an action packed first period trailing 2-1 but thet would be as close as the Penguins would get. Derick Brassard tallied in the second to restore a two goal cushion for New york and Lundqvist made the lead stand up up with a 36 save effort while Fleury resorded 26 saves in the loss.
When I look at this match up on paper the Penguins are loaded with talent throughout their roster and have an obvious edge over New York. That being said, this talent was nowhere to be found in the last two games and that is a definite worry heading to a game seven especially if Fleury is average. I'm waiting for a line but don't like what I have seen from the Penguins in any area the last two contests so please check back on game day with a pick...
