The Maple Leafs look to win their fourth game in a row as they head to the desert to take on the Arizona Coyotes who are seeking back to back wins on Tuesday night.
The Maple Leafs got off to a slow start to the regular season and had an impatient fan base looking for answers but have won three straight and have silenced some of those critics heading into Phoenix on Tuesday night. Toronto to me is a team that has a lot of talent but can't seem to live up to that potential whether that has to do with the mental side of playing in Toronto or whether they simply don't have the chemistry that other teams do but the talent is certainly there. The Leafs collapsed down the stretch last season and missed the playoffs a year after ending their ugly drought but with the group of forwards they have up front and the way Bernier and Reimer can play I see this Buds team getting back there this season if they can maintain their consistent play. The Buds will likely go with Bernier here as he will go up against Mike Smith,

The Coyotes on the other hand are a team that I see regressing in a big way this season and will fall well short of the playoffs and should very well end up in the littery for one of the top draft picks in July. Arizona is very thin up front and will have to find ways to score if they're going to compete in the Pacific division but even so they haven't been able to keep the puck out of their net this season and some of that has to do with the regression of Mike Smith. Arizona is usually a better team at home than on the road as most teams are but in this spot I just don't see it as the Leafs are playing the better hockey and desperately need to find ways to beat the teams they should be beating. Take Toronto here.
