The red hot New York Islanders look for the Florida sweep on Saturday as they head into Tampa Bay to take on the Lightning.

The New York Islanders have quickly become one of the most exciting teams in the league to watch and with two of the game's best going head to head on Saturday in John Tavares and Steven Stamkos we should be in for another nail biter between two Eastern Conference contenders. The Isles won their fifth game in a row, seventh of their last 10, and 11th overall last night in a shootout against the Florida Panthers and now they'll look to knock of the Bolts who are coming off a tough loss against the San Jose Sharks where they were held to just one goal. New York will likely turn to Chad Johnson in this one after Jaro Halak went the distance last night and against a strong offensive team like Tampa Bay it is never the best idea to start your backup goalie especially on the road.
The Lightning have been one of the game's best all season long and while they dropped a potential statement game against the visiting Sharks in their last game the Bolts still sit in second place in the Atlantic division and can leapfrog the Canadiens for top spot by night's end. Tampa is loaded with young talent up front and have a nice blue line to boot but their ace in the hole is Ben Bishop who is quickly emerging as one of the game's best goalies and has really carved himself an identity in Tampa after bouncing around to St. Louis and Ottawa. The Lightning are heavy favourites here and the line could move depending on who is in goal for the Isles but if all things go to plan I think this should be an easy win for the Lightning who I think get it done in 60 minutes.
