Kreider posted two goals and an assist in this one, while Dan Boyle added a goal and an assist. Derek Stepan also chipped in with two assists of his own.
This was the first regulation loss for Sens goalie Andrew Hammond, who started his career at 14-0-1.

Pekka Rinne, G, Nashville Predators: The Preds took on a solid Lightning team and came out on top last night, taking the lead in the Central Division in the process.
Nashville came out on top 3-2, thanks to a good effort by Rinne, who had 28 saves.
The Predators are now one point ahead of the Blues for first in the Central at 46-21-8. Tampa Bay moves to 46-22-7.
Jarome Iginla, RW, Colorado Avalanche: Iginla scored last night against the Canucks, helping his team keep its playoff hopes alive. Ryan O’Reilly also had a nice game with two assists in the 4-1 victory.
