The Ducks and Devils meet up in New Jersey on Sunday as the visitors aim to inch closer to wrapping up the Pacific division title.

The Ducks head into New Jersey on Sunday looking for their second win in as many nights and their 49th on the season as they take on a Devils side coming off a loss on the road against the Hurricanes. Anaheim has been a league power house for years now and are playing through another incredible regular season but you can be sure that Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry and the boys have bigger things on their mind and another Stanley Cup title is the only thing in their minds that would make this season a success. The Ducks have the legs to do it this season but they will be in tough getting out of the Western Conference, though I don't see them having much difficulty in the Pacific division but with the Central being so strong Anaheim knows they'll need to finish off the first two rounds with ease to set up a shot at winning the Western Conference.
The Devils have had a disappointing season and will not be going to the playoffs but it is not at the fault of goaltender Corey Schneider who has had a remarkable season between the pipes and heads into Sunday's game sitting in sixth in the league with a 2.19 GAA. New Jersey could also see the return of Ilya Kovalchuk next season and rumors swirl he may give up on his venture in the KHL and the Devils would assume his contract rights and that would be a huge boost to the team's anemic offense, assuming he still has the same offensive capabilities as when he left. For now though, the Devils will continue their low scoring games and with Anaheim playing in a back to back I think this one stays under the number with ease.
