The Chicago Blackhawks are looking like the team of old in the last couple of weeks as they have gone from losing four straight games heading into the playoffs to winning six of their last right and sitting pretty up two games heading into Minnesota. The Hawks won the lottery by getting Patrick Kane back in time for the start of the postseason and he has been a world of difference scoring 10 points in eight games and once again looking like the difference maker he was before he got injured. The Hawks head into Minny who has had a ton of success at home this season and will be fired up to get back in the series in front of their fans but they couldn't seem to get it going in game two and that may favour the Hawks who continue to generate momentum.
Minnesota finds itself in unfamiliar territory heading back home for game three as they never trailed against the Blues in the first round and now they have to battle back from two games down against a high flying Blackhawks team on a mission. The Wild have been knocking on the door for the last few years and after ridding of the Blues in the opening round many expected they could go on a Cup run and while they still very well might the Hawks are two games away from clinching the series and have five games to do it. Minny is a good team with great defense and have been good at home but I hate the price we are getting on them so I think going to the total is the better play and if Minny is going to win it won't be a shootout and it'll be a low scoring affair where five goals would be the max.
