The Oilers look to follow up last night's spectacular outing in Calgary with another road victory in Vancouver while the Canucks can earn their third win over the Oil in the last two weeks.
The Edmonton Oilers finally got in the win column after a slow start to the season and they did so in very good fashion as Connor McDavid netted a pair of goals and added an assist and Cam Talbot was brilliant as the Oil landed a big 5-2 victory over their bitter rivals. Edmonton needs a short memory though as they head into Vancouver for a date with the Canucks who have had their way with them over the years and they need to avoid a let down after a special win last night. Edmonton has a much better team than their record indicates but if they're going to be a playoff contender this season they need to win this type of game and I think they have the personnel to do it.

The Canucks meanwhile are coming off their first regulation loss of the season but remain with a lofty 3-1-1 record and in a good spot in the Pacific division but will be facing an Oilers team with some momentum and will be out to exact revenge after back to back losses to start the season. Vancouver is a tough team to figure out as expectations were quite low this season and while the sample size is quite small they have looked above average so far and could very well be back in the postseason in April. With Edmonton coming off a game last night on the road I think they will try and keep this game low scoring and with the Canucks having difficulty scoring as is I think the under is the play here and that's what we will be on.
