The Line: Calgary Flames / Montreal Canadiens --- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Canadiens look to rebound after a shocking loss in Edmonton last night as they continue their Alberta road trip south to Calgary.
The Montreal Canadiens spotted themselves a 3-0 lead against the Oilers on Thursday night but took their foot of the gas and surrendered four unanswered as they lost by a 4-3 final and dropped their second straight. The Habs need to have a short memory and be better prepared on Friday night as they head into Calgary to battle a disappointing Flames team that has stumbled out of the gates and will be looking to make a statement before their show down with Edmonton on Saturday. Mike Condon will likely get the call between the pipes as Carey Price will get the night off while the Flames will counter with Joni Ortio who could be the starter indefinitely with Jonas Hiller listed as day-to-day with an injury.

The Flames have been a big disappointment so far this season as they were expected to do great things this year but a shootout loss in Ottawa dropped them to 2-7-1 on the year and in second to last in the Pacific division. Calgary as mentioned has a show down with the Oilers on Saturday and could possibly be in a look ahead spot here as a result but the Canadiens are as tough as anyone in the league and with a disappointing loss last night you can bet they will be focused on getting a win here, especially with Saturday night off. Calgary is bound to shake the losing streak soon but for now it continues against Montreal even without Price as they will certainly give a better effort to close out the game tonight than they did last night.
